T.I ordered back to Prison

US rapper T.I has run out of chances and has been ordered back to prison for violating his probation with his recent drug arrest. According to CNN 'T.I begged U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. for mercy, saying he needed help for his drug addiction, not more time in prison'. The pleas fell on deaf ears as he was still sentenced to 11months beginning in two weeks. Guess Judge Charles Pannell Jr. has heard it all before, and I think T.I deserves the sentence for being such a dumbass!

Alicia Keys has a Baby Boy!

Alicia Keys became the mother of a baby boy on Thursday October 14th. Alicia and husband music producer Swizz Beatz named their bundle of  joy Egypt Daoud Dean!  We are not so sure about 'Egypt' as a boys name, the kids at school would have a field day with this one.  What do you think?

The Dele Momodu Presidential campaign launched a nationwide competition in search for the best presidential campaign jingle and music video concept which would be used for his campaign. There was a press conference release today at the W. in Ikeja, Lagos. Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners are: N2.5 million, N1.5 million and N1 million respectively. For those who do not know, Dele Momodu is the Nigeria reporter turned rogue radio personality turned Magazine publisher turned politician. Whew that was exhausting! Anyway this is definitely a great opportunity for whoever wins! 

Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2010

The Victoria Secret Fashion show is set to take place in New York and will be aired November 30th on CBS. Akon and Katy Perry are scheduled to perform at the event while our favourite angels stomp the runway. I am pretty excited to have Adriana Lima back on stage!

Now Bristol is on Dancing with the Stars this season and is being introduced every week on the show as a teen activist! What the heck, she's a teenage girl who got pregnant and is always in the media attention whoring like her mother. I think the appropriate word here is 'HOE ACTIVIST'. Stop celebrating mediocrity, we need real role models.

Ex Oceanic Bank CEO Cecilia Ibru Gets Sentenced to Prison

Former Oceanic bank of Nigeria CEO, Cecilia Ibru has been sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to 3 of 25 counts of fraud and mismanagement. She is also being fined 1.2billion Naira. This is definitely progress being made in the fight against corruption and making people in power accountable for their actions. The problem is I do not think the punishment is harsh enough to serve as a deterrent to other banking executives who choose to break and consider themselves above the law!

Not So Easy A... More of an Easy F!!!

Okay so I went to see the movie 'Easy A' and was quite disappointed. The trailer was so inviting and it seemed the movie would be that funny, full of personality teen movie which adults could get into. The lead actress played by Emma Stone was quite witty and the scenes with her family were pretty hilarious outside of that the movie plot was unintelligent. I was so bored and started wishing my friend had agreed to see the 'Social network' instead! I would rate this movie one star, not worth the trip to the cinema, wait for it to premiere on television!
